The Royal Government of Bhutan recognizes that tourism is a world-wide phenomenon and an important means of achieving socioeconomic development particularly for developing countries like Bhutan. It also recognizes that tourism, in affording the opportunity to travel, can help in promoting understanding among peoples and building closer ties of friendship based on appreciation and respect for different cultures and lifestyles.

Towards achieving this objective, the Royal Government, since inception of tourism in the year 1974, has adopted a very cautious approach to growth and development
of the tourism. The Bhutanese tourism industry is based on principle of sustainability that is ‘tourism must be environmentally and ecologically friendly, socially and culturally acceptable and economically viable’.

Her eight years of professional international experience in communications and marketing plays a vital role in the Company. She works closely with her team to ensure the best delivery of services on an international level to all the clients.

Yangchen Pema, Operations Manager With 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry and is also a licensed guide, Yangchen has built a large network within the Bhutanese guide and transportation circles and works closely within these networks to provide the best services to our guests

Phub Lhaden, Reservations Manager Having worked for more than a decade in the travel industry, Phub has a good grasp on the reservation aspects of the industry. She works tirelessly with our hotel partners to ensure that all our guests are comfortable and all their needs are taken care of at any given time.
